Kale and Mango Smoothie

Got this recipe from the Clean Program and made a few minor adjustments. It’s simply delicious. Before this detox I had never put kale in my smoothie. After trying this smoothie, I will put kale in my smoothies 9/10 times. This is a great way to get some fruits and vegetables into your diet. Kids love smoothies too! YUMMMMY

3/4 unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup coconut water

1 leaf lacinato kale

1/4 Tbsp almond butter (or 1/4 avocado)

1/4 cup frozen mango

2 Tbsp ground flax seed

3-5 ice cubes

Optional to add 1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder. I think vanilla would taste the best.
